Day 47 July 29 2010

Travel from Junction TX to San Antonio TX today. We have decided to stay 2 nights here and then home. Have lots of wash to do and catch up on mail. HaHa. We had a good time with my sister and brother-in-law. In case some of you did not recognize it we were at La Fogata. It was nice to see some of the places here we had forgot about or some we had not seen, as they were after we moved away. We also got to see our nephew Greg and his wife Rose, it had been a long time since we had seen them. We sat and visited way too late for us but we got to get caught up on things,

Love this tree dressing in the KOA Park in Junction TX.

Right before we got to Kerrville TX.

This is a New Cross that was approved by our Gov. This is at the exit to Kerrville TX on I-10.

Where we may be going after this long trip.

We made it to San Antonio Texas today.

Another nice KOA RV Park.

Playground area for the children.

Pat even got to pet Sparket without getting bit.

Linda opening a little something Pat got for her.

Ronnie got a knife.

Then we took Ronnie & Linda out to eat.

Linda is checking out the menu.

We started out with a guacamole snack first. It was made fresh at our table for us. Linda had never seen one made at the table before. What a treat for her.

Ronnie said the peppers were HOT.. That is the first time we ever heard him say this.

Then 2 ladies came by and was sampling a drink for us to try.

Ronnie was impressed......... HA HA.

Linda & I had to sample some of the new drink.

Then we had to leave.

Ronnie took us to Stinson Field and showed us an Air Museum there but it was too late and they were closed for the day.

We will have to check this out next time we come to San Antonio.
Information about Stinson Field.

They were getting ready to close for the day but we were told that inside they have a lot of history there also.

This is one of the Missions in S.A.

A dam along the San Antonio River.

The water comes over the road, but they had it closed for this evening. people drive into the river on the road and wash their cars sometimes.

Then there is some Hay Art the city had a local artist create for the park here along the river.

Very interesting information here.

This tree was planted here from Mass. in remembrance of JFK.

Just a small waterfall.
