Christmas 2015

A lot of our family came to our home today for Christmas dinner and opening gifts.. Colleen came in from Portland OR. and Cody in from Plugerville TX. Patti's mom, JoAnn, joined us also.
First we went to have Christmas at our Son (Don), daughter-in-law (Patti) home.
The weather was unbelievable. 83 deg. (F) and lots of sunshine.
Then we went back  home to get everything ready for Christmas there and also start getting ready for some food. LOL. Casey and Ryan met us at our house to share Christmas with us. Seems we always have lots of food and desserts for Christmas. Nobody leaves our home hungry.
Wish all of our family could have been here. Maybe next year.
We enjoyed ourselves and appreciated all our blessings.
Hope each and everyone of you had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New year to you.

Linda's 65 th B'day party

A BIG Thank You to everyone that took time and effort to decorate the hall for Linda on her Big Night. Also for everyone that was able to attend and make her day even better and a night to remember.
Well this was suppose to be her surprise birthday party for her big 65. Think she knew a lot that was happening ahead of time. She had a really good turnout and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. Lost count of the people but there were a lot. They had a bar-b-q dinner with a band(Bimbo) they were playing some great music.
Harry Page from the sports section of the paper was there, he covered all their bowling events over the years. It was good to see him. Wish her son, Greg , could have made it to wish her happy birthday and to see Harry. He had to work that night so him and his wife, Rose, could not come.
The cake was a big hit. It was really divine.
The party finally came to an end about 11 and the weather held out for us and we just had a little wind at the end with the front starting to come thru.,
Linda's birthday is actually the 19th. so she still has a day or so before it is official.

I am sure eveyone will remember the big 65 party for Linda for a long time to come.

The one thing missing was Willie's Bus on the parking lot.

More pictures will be added that was taken by Cody Franklin Linda's Great Nephew at a later date.
