Gathering in Sulphur LA. July 2019

Well we have arrived here in Sulphur, Louisiana for us to see the first ever night glow Hot Air Balloon Festival in Lake Charles on Friday and Saturday evenings at the Lake Charles Airport.
Some of us are going Friday night and some are going on Saturday night.
We want to say how much we enjoyed the get together. It was a great time and we all kind of went our ways but met up for certain things.
Of course there were some of us that took in the casino life and a  few won some money and a few contributed.
we ate out quite a bit and had some great Cajun food. Didn't do our usual pot luck and all. everyone was too busy going here and there.
The hot air balloon event was quite something and since the first one there they need to get some things worked out for next year. It was really neat seeing them all pull in on trailers and then filling them with air. they never did leave the ground so that was a little let down. thought they would at least get a few feet off the ground. There were 15 Balloons here.
Due to the problems and the heat on Friday most all decided not to go on Saturday night. we played games and had some appetizers, a few went to the casino, air conditioning. LOL.
As usual A Plus Motel and RV Park and the Owner, Mike, was very good to us.
The RV turnout was very good for this get to gather. All total there were 15 RV's, some were members of our Clubs and others were family and friends. Everyone had a great time.
We were glad to see some who had not been in awhile and glad to see some new faces.
We hope everyone has a very good end of summer. for those on the road be safe, for those recovering from illnesses and surgeries, we wish you a speedy recovery and hope to see all on the road in September.
For those WWW members remember to make your reservations for Rockport very soon, and also please feel free to book for October for San Leon.
Safe travels and prayers for all.
George & Pat

P.S. so sorry this took so long but been having a lot going on since our return. As we speak our new roof is being put on. Lots of noise right now.
Prayers for Carol Seidel as she recovers from her surgery and a Happy Birthday late To Nancy Danna who was 88 on the 2nd.
