Well this was the day that George thought he could locate our first apartment in Berkeley, Calif. I had no recall as to where it was but remembered what it looked like. After several hours of going up and down streets he finally said that was enough and wanted to quit looking. This is the only residence in all the years we have been married and neither of us could remember the street. We found a camping world and then went to Wal-Mart(seems we spend a lot of time at those.) LOL We came on back to camp and had a campfire, which we have had every night, as it gets pretty cool and damp in the evenings.
We are going to explore Santa Rosa tomorrow. A couple of things I found that I have not told him about. Should be a good day of sightseeing.
A little foggy this morning when we started out. Remember we are only about 45 miles from San Francisco CA.
Here we go over the bridge to Berekely CA.
Here is Monkey Island in the Bay.
Then we saw the horse Track.
This is NOT the house where we rented the top floor but it looks close. We could not find the house that we lived in, so sad.
After several hours looking for our first house we (or I gave up looking) so we headed out of town and went across another bridge that was a toll bridge.
The we passed what looked like a pig farm, not sure but it looked like one.
Then we saw some California traffic, glad we were not going in that direction. It was backed up for at least 4 miles.
This silo looks like it may not be with us much longer, it is leaning just a little so I thought I better take this picture.
On U.S. 101 there were some interesting looking buildings.
Then we arrived back in Petaluma CA. (Nice Sign).
here is the Yacht Club.
The entrance to the KOA there are some Lambs and a Peacock.
