Day 42 July 24 2010
In Bakersfield CA. today just R & R ing. After the long day on the road and the heat that has caught up with us we are just relaxing. Will mail some more postcards, work on the blog, visit with neighbors and take in the happy hour and have a meal tonight all right here. No designated driver needed. Ha Ha. Oh yes, we found out that the RV Park was built on the land that was the old Crest Drive In Theater in Bakersfield. They had pics of it before and during the process. It was quite a historical place. Met more people from Texas, imagine that. We have to say farewell to the good life tomorrow and we start our journey to Texas and home. Get to see all our grand kids it has been a long time.
