Sept 11th 2011 Rayford Crossing

It is time to say our good byes for now until we see them in Austin. It was a great time hosting and we really enjoyed it. We will be washing our coach as we have a lot of ash on it from all the fires we are having. Hoping our prayers for rain will be answered soon and we have some help with our dry spell. It is 9-11 and time to reflect on our blessings and all that lost their love ones on that tragic day 10 years ago. May we never have a repeat of this type again. See you in Austin.

Don and LaVerne Williams leaving this morning.

Ray stopped by to say goodbye.

Molly walking her two grandsons and her dogs.

Norma, Pat, Mary and George Welsh saying goodbye.

Phil and Gisele are leaving now. Pat stopped to talk with them.

On our way back home we saw this on Rayford Rd.

God Bless all.

Sept 10 th 2011 Rayford Crossing

It is already Saturday and our big breakfast day. We are doing pancakes and sausage with cereal and the kolaches left from Friday. We had a pretty good turnout and all enjoyed it very much. We had a business meeting afterwards and then all went to the official viewing on the new coaches and I think Gilbert may have some serious lookers on one of them. Janet brought her coach and had some people very serious about it. We hope all goes well as she wants her open road. A lot went to lunch for mexican food and some stayed around camp to relax. We had a wonderful dinner and after we finished we had a drawing for some boots George Franklin had made and also some candles were donated by them. Everyone enjoyed trying for a gift. Maybe there will be a surprise at Austin rally. After the 42 players started up, pass the Love group got going and there were the skip-bo players along with the hot tub and just the visiting groups. All had a good time and we are still thinking about Joe Huntley and hoping all goes well.

Sept 9th 2011 Rayford Crossing

It is time for us to serve breakfast and we thought we would try something different and have both meat and fruit kolaches. We heard pro and con some people actually missed all the calories and sugar from the donuts and others said it was a welcome change. We had the show coaches arrive and we all had to quickly tour them. We went to Culver's for our ice cream fix. Oh ny goodness was it good.
The catered meal was very good and after it was over we had our bingo night. The blackout was 55.00 pretty good amount. I think all had fun. The fires are still burning in different locations and we are to have very hot weather again. We need releive so very bad. Hopefully some good news tomorrow.
