Day 33 July 15 2010

We made it from the cool West coast of Oregon to the middle right off I5 and it is hot. We came from 60's for a high to 95 today here, quite a change. It was a pretty drive over and we just took it easy. The park we are in is really beautiful and lots of amenities which I am sure George will take pics of. Tomorrow we are going to Crater Lake and see some more waterfalls on the way. More pics to come. Oh yes we went and contributed a few dollars at the casino. We get another 10% off our rate with the card, kind of sneaky way to get you to the casino. We had a little scare when we started to leave this morning the rv would not start. We thought oh no now what? Turned out to be a loose battery cable. That was good news.

Our last trip thru Coos Bay OR. on Highway U.S. 101 South. Exiting the south side of Coos Bay.
Then we found our exit to Highway 42 East.
We got to see timbers floating down the river to the mil.
We past thru Coquille OR along the way.
And then to Myrtle Point OR.
More Highway construction, this time it was a bridge they had down to only one lane.
Then we came upon a small covered bridge.
A flag person for more construction.
had a beautiful drive today.
This reminded us of the Red Barn in San Antonio.
this photo does not show what we saw, it looked like silver .
This is either 10 mile creek or 12 mile creek, depends on which sign we saw.
Then we reached our place of stay for the next 2 or 3 nights.
This park was suggested to us by a lady that Pat was talking with in Portland.
What a nice park.
This is our RV parked.
