Travel day from Lordsburg NM to Van Horn TX. Finally back in Texas. We covered a lot of territory today, I think George is anxious to see Texas again too. We will have a couple of more days on the road and we will be back in Cypress. We have dodged the rain this whole trip, I can not believe it. We were ready for a lot of rain and nothing. Just heard on news about the big fire in California. It is less than 100 miles from where we stayed in Bakersfield. I guess we were lucky to leave when we did and avoid all the smoke they must be getting there now.
Looks like I got caught.
What another beautiful day.
A tree and an old windmill.
Looks like rain over there.
WOW a Teepee.
Information as to where we are going east on I-10.
We made a pit stop here.
What a large Cactus here.
Guess where we are now.
They must have know we were going to be here today.
Large Outlet Mall in El Paso and we did not stop.
TO our right is Juarez Mexico.
Yes this is Juarez, Mexico.
Looks like the border patrol has someone trying to cross.
This is the Rio Grande River between El Paso TX and Juarez Mexico.
Nice overpass.
Sign of some more rain in the distance.
A lake we could see from I-10.
Here we are in Van Horn Texas.
Great sunset here this evening.
WOW look what pulled in for the night here.
