From Van Horn TX to Junction Texas today. It was a pretty long day today. We started early and made it to camp fairly early afternoon. We had some wind when we got in but never had any rain. We are going to San Antonio tomorrow. Spend a day or two and then to Cypress. We are kind of starting to wind down now and get ready for reality to set in. Did not unhook car. We decided to just rest and work on blog.
Right before sunrise this morning.
So beautiful today.
Must be something new in A/C units.
They put on gun fights of the old west here sometimes.
Now we have a sunrise.
Then we hit the highway and come to the I-10 and I-20 split. We go right on I-10.
Looks like it has been dry here for a while.
Nice cowboy sculpture.
More wind turbines here in west Texas.
Good looking hill .
They just went thru the rocks to make this highway.
Nice downgrade.
So great looking as we travel east on I-10 .
Pretty blue sky out here. With a jet stream also.
Then we get to Junction Texas for a little R & R for the evening.
Our escort to our camping sight.
Great spot to rest for tonight.
Great shady spot for us.
Then we went down and saw a few deer.
I think they know the season is not here yet.
A total of about 9 deer here.
Nice sunset.
Could not resist this picture.
this one also.
Some of the sites have the new covers finished already.
Just an evening pic.
Then Pat spotted this, what could it be???
So I captured a close up . Very interesting.
