WWW Rally Country Place RV Park April 2014

Well it is Easter Sunday and we went to church and now on our way to Cut & Shoot Texas for a Rally. Should be 5 Rv's here today. There will be a total of 11 RV's here for this rally. We are being treated to pulled pork from the Bechards everyone brought some sides.
We visited with Janet Lambe, she just came in her car, and the West arrived after doctor visit.
On Tuesday we went to have Mexican food for lunch and then played some games.
On Wednesday we had company from the Fitzgeralds and the Dannas, good to see both couples. We had lunch and played some games.
Wednesday was the big arrival day for most of the coaches. We had them coming in one after another. We had fun watching them drive by. Just like a parade.
Thursday we had pot luck. a favorite meal. Visited played games.
Friday we had fajitas and all the trimmings.
We had our meeting Saturday morning and it was a record short one. About 18 minutes, a record I think. The Parkers joined us for breakfast and the meeting and then had to leave,
Saturday we had hamburgers on the grill and some hot dogs for those who preferred. The host team treated us to this meal. Janie and her friend, Edward, joined us for the evening meal.
We had several visitors during the week of members that were unable to attend the rally, sure glad they came by to see us in their cars..
We had a lot of fun all week with visiting, playing games and just relaxing.
Pat drove the motor home half way there and all the way back, no incidents, so guess she still remembers how to handle it.

YAH April 2014 Trip

The first stop was at McDonalds for coffee then on to the Mercer Arboretum and Gardens .
Lunch was at the Wunsche Brothers Cafe in Old Town Spring with time for sightseeing and shopping for several hours.

Well it was good to be back on the bus and with all our friends. This was our first rip in awhile. It started off very cool but the day turned our really nice. Great weather for walking and sightseeing. there were a few new faces to us since our last trip.
If you have never taken the time to go to the Arboretum you need to do so. It is a beautiful gardens and it is free. Imagine that. A lot of the work is done by volunteers so they are able to offer this beautiful place without charging.
Nancy Mayer and Mary along with George and I did the scavenger hunt. George and I did all the first phase and due to running short on time, Nancy and Mary did phase II the last two numbers. We had a good time and it was a fun way to see the gardens.
We went to Old Town Spring next for lunch and had a great time eating at the Wunsche Brothers Cafe. Then we all divided up and went to different shops. Not naming a few that found the wine tasting very good. They just bought a whole bottle to drink. They said they really enjoyed it. I gave them my phone number for next time they decide to do that.
We returned to church a little after 4. Thanks to our host couples again for the fantastic job they do planning, coordinating and having the trips.
