2018 Thanksgiving with family

What a WONDERFUL Way to have Thanksgiving.

It all started a week early this year, Our Son and daughter in-law (Mike and Jana) came down from Granbury, TX to bring a trailer load of furniture and some other items to sell in a garage sale.

While they were here our sons, Don and Mike, and others decided to take down a tree. This is an old tradition of always having a project to do when they were home for holidays when they were going to A &M and even after.

Mike still packs a trailer to the fullest.

A Great Thanksgiving.

Well this year we did things a little different.
We started out with Brunch at our son,Don, and daughter-in law, Patti. Their son (Cody) and daughter (Colleen) were in for Thanksgiving and Patti had her mother to join us. Colleen and Patti did all the preparations for it, even had a mimosa. Thanks colleen. Great brunch this morning. Thanks.
Then we went to Pam and Joe's to help her finish up and be ready for 2:00  meal. Think we had a bit too much but sure it will not go to waste. Dillon deep fried the turkey and it was delicious. We all overindulged but that is Thanksgiving.
The dessert table looked like something aboard a cruise ship. We had 6 different kinds of pies, Casey made a peanut butter pie, that has to be a keeper. Cody did a Chocolate pie that was yummy. fruit salad, grape salad, Pam's banana pudding, pumpkin sheet cake dessert, and some I forgot. Needless to say there was more than enough to go around.
We played a couple of games of CLR and visited and then some had to go on to another meal. I think everyone had A GOOD TIME AND IT WAS TRULY A BLESSING TO ALL BE TOGETHER AGAIN.
