Another trip from our church provided by the Harris County Bus. We first went to the McDonalds in the museum district. Then on to the Holocaust Museum. We had a very wonderful guide (Fred) who not only knew the history but lived thru the whole ordeal. His family was one of the lucky ones that escaped with nothing but their lives. It was very emotional to hear his story and to know that that it was not just heresay but true happenings. We then went on to Cleburne's cafeteria for lunch. It has been in business since the 1940's.The portions are enough to share and 4 of us enjoyed 1 serving of the bread pudding. Yes and we all had a good portion of it. We then went on to the Houston Baptist University and to their Bible museums. It is one of the largest in the U.S.. Very informative guide, Doug Sanders, no not the golfer. He is 85 years old. No typo error I did say 85. He gave us a tour and then showed us a short film on the history of the Bible. We were then free to tour on our own and we discovered that there was also a museum on the Architecture of the early years and some history on it. I highly encourage you to visit one or both of these. We finished up our trip with our usual group picture and then we were on our way home.

These two pictures were items we saw at the Holocaust Museum Houston.
The one below is a train car like they used to transport the people in during the Holocaust time, up to 200 persons were loaded into this type of rail car.
Now on to the Bible Museeum.
