Day 40 July 22 2010

This was a first for us. We have never taken a guided tour, always did it on our own. It was worth every penny, not to have to fight traffic, pay inflated parking prices, find our way around, and not see near what we did by taking the tour. Of course your time is limited at stops but it was fine and we got more than enough pics of all. It brought back a lot of memories for us. Boy we never dreamed 52 years ago that we would be back touring in our own RV and seeing the good ole U.S.A. All we could afford back then were mayo and mustard sandwiches, nothing else on them and we had to walk or take a bus to get some places. It was a great day and took the worries off us and we learned a lot of history that we did not know. I would highly advise if you get the chance some time to take a tour like that. Oh yes as we were leaving San Francisco our tour guide put on the song I Left My Heart In San Francisco and it brought a tear to the eye. A neat ending to a wonderful day.

Guess what we did today !!!!!!!!

Right, we took a tour of San Francisco, CA.

Angelena will be our guide and driver.

Going down U.S. 101 we saw this house we had to take the pic of for you.
