Trip to Cisco Texas

We did a long trip via Pat's Van to Cisco Texas on the 28th of October to see our son, Mike, coach the Tolar Ratttlers on his Birthday also to see our granddaughter, Lauren, cheer them on.
We left Willis Texas about 10:30 AM on Friday morning and returned at 4:30 AM Saturday morning to our RV in Willis Texas.
It was a good game and the rattlers should have won had the officials not been one sided. They played their best and nothing to be ashamed about even when bad officiating was so evident.
We were on the road a little too long and it took us awhile to recoup.
Friday nights lights in Texas. nothing better.
The Rattlers have made the playoffs again this year. Going to be tough going because they just moved up from 2-A to 3-A.
We wish them the best.

Trip to visit New RV Park in Willis Tx

On October the 27th Pat and I traveled to check out a new RV park.
It is Majestic Pines RV Resort on US Hwy 75 in Willis Texas.
This part is under construction and phase one is almost complete. Phase two is underway.
Very nicely landscaped and kept clean.
Very heavily wooded area, however there are many sites that can not get satellite. By the end of November they will have cable and Satellite, this is being wired now.
At night the lights are fixed to the trees to shine upwards into the trees.(see pictures below).
The owner said he will always have sites for Rallies. Lets hope he keeps that promise.
It will have pool, hot tub, pavilion with sliding doors for winter or rainy days, a new office, with laundry room and upstairs a work our room that will be all glass on one side so you can look out over park while exercising.
