Our WWW Rally in Evant, Texas, April 2021 at Buena Vista
RV Park.
We arrived on Sunday 4/11, 2021, there were a total of 6
RV’s for the Rally all total.
On Monday We all went to eat Breakfast at The Elk Stop.
Tuesday: Our Grandson, Dillon, his wife, Whitley and our Grandson, Everett came to
visit us for the Day. We visited and went thru the Safari and Everett loved the animals so very much, Had a late lunch with them and all the
RVer’s that were here.
Wednesday: We ate an early dinner at the local home town cafe and then browsed a couple of the local shops.
Thursday: we went to the Dutchman’s Hidden Valley
Country Store and a few of us had there Ruben Sandwich for Lunch.
Friday 4/16/2021:Our son, Don, our daughter-in-law, Patti &our Grandson, Cody came up to
visit for a couple of days, Cody was home from Washington State and wanted to
come see us. This was a surprise and we really enjoyed seeing them. We were having our cookout this evening. We played Mexican train and some played pool,
Saturday: Went to Hico and met up with our other son, Mike, our daughter-in-law, Jana and our granddaughter, Lauren at the Koffee Kup Kafe for a meal and some good pie. Went browsing a few shops and visited outside for awhile, Went back to camp and met up with others and visited and played games. Think the Franklins held the most times thru the safari park. Had some close calls with a few animals, but all turned out good and really enjoyed seeing them.
Sunday: Headed out to Fredericksburg, Texas for
another Rally there.
Hope all that couldn't make it have a chance to catch us down the road. For just a couple days of relaxation and seeing some nice wildlife, plus the staff at this park was so very accommodating , George and I would highly recommend a trip to Evant, Texas and the rv park and wildlife park. If staying in park it is a one time fee for safari, no matter how many times you go thru plus they furnish the cups of food free in the office.
A few pictures along the way to Evant Texas to our rally. Great Bluebonnet's along the highways.
Thought this was really cool how they honor service men and women from their hometown of Marlin.
