Well it is St. Patrick's day and we are on our way to McGregor to watch Lauren our Granddaughter do the hurdles. It is ironic that this is the first teaching assignment that our son, Mike, had after getting his teaching certificate from Texas A & M. Now he is retired and taking his daughter there for her track meet. WOW!
We watched the weather this morning and it was saying there could be rain and hail by 2:00 pm today. I called Mike and he had not heard this so he was going to check and call us back. He called back and said it could be some showers but he thought it was going to miss the McGregor area.
So we headed that way ☺😇😇. It was a beautiful drive all the way there.
All went good and then we all were ready to get a late lunch, Mike knew about The Coffee Cup Cafe so that is where we had lunch. Then the sky started to get dark and Mike checked the weather and said we should get going south to out run the storm that was near. It did rain on us till we got to Marlin Texas then the sky started to clear. The rest of the trip home was good.
Lauren ran 17.5 in the 100 hurdle and 55.2 in the 300.
