Our YAH trip for October 2016 to New Dubina, Texas.
Mr. James Helms, a retired dentist, has built this old western town and still gathers all the collectibles for it. He also collects old wagons.
This is a must see if you are in the area. You have to call ahead to make arrangements to visit. You may bring a sack lunch and sit in the big room and rest for awhile. They do have the modern convenience of bathrooms for you to use.
Plan on spending quite a bit of time, there is a lot there. This was our second trip and we enjoyed it a lot again.
He loves telling you about all the items you may not recognize and may not believe what it is used for.
He has built the smallest church in Texas. You can have a wedding, baptism, or any event you would like.
All this will make you appreciate and know we are very spoiled to all our material things.
Please be with our Country as we go thru this election year.
Until our next trip. Safe Travels.
