While we were in Glen Rose, Texas we got to take in a lot of things going on.
Saturday AM we went to breakfast in Glen Rose then checked out some shops on the square. Then we went to "Junkin in the Hood" in Granbury. This was a mini Round Top. They just started it two years ago and it has really taken off and grown. Checked out all the good stuff there.
Now on to the Granbury Square to check out the Harvest Moon Festival going on. They have a lot of vendors set up around the town square selling different things.
Back to the RV in Glen Rose to relax, but we did make a quick stop at Chicken Express, before taking in a wonderful play that is only there, on friday and Saturday Evenings in Sept. and October every year.
Our son, Mike and daughter-in-law, Jana came and picked us up for the passion play. It was good to get to visit with them and to see the play.
It is in an open air ampitheater, built just for this play for two months a year, every Friday and Saturday nights.
We had a full moon and great weather. The moon helped to light up the entire place.
