2016 Trip to Carthage Texas

We did a side trip to Carthage, Texas yesterday to visit The Texas Country Music hall of Fame & The Tex Ritter Museum.
A great tribute to Country Music and the history that made it come to life.
We had forgot how many country music stars are from the great state of Texas.
They have a juke box and you can play all the music you want for free, while touring the museum.
We had a great time and then we drove to see the Veterans memorial. The old jail. The Jim Reeves Memorial. Finally the Footprints Memorial they are now building. Pretty impressive and moving even in the building stage.
Lots to come back and see in the area. we will be bebackers for sure.
Happy trails to you, till we meet again.

Be sure and visit the website  www.carthagetexas.com   for more information.
