2016 March Demontrond Rally at Whispering Pines in Tyler Texas

We arrived at the Rally in Tyler on Tuesday. Several RV'ers were here already.
There was a total of 21 RV's here for this rally per Jesse.
Wed morning about 11:30 it started to rain on us. Later we all had to go to the shelter area (The restrooms) due to having a Tornado Warning Issued at 2:45 PM. Thanks to the information given us by Kyle and Alex the workers at the park. All turned out OK the closest problem to us was in Lindale, Texas. We had our pot luck on Wednesday night instead of Thursday due to weather.
Thursday was sunshine all day. We had our cook out on this night. Joe Bechard smoked a lot of the burgers during the day and then Jeff cooked the rest on the pit and the sausage before we ate. Quite a few went to Canton early and were glad because rain returned on Friday for shopping.
I had read about this place to eat good sea food in Tyler called the Catch and so we tried it along with the Liebels. It was soooo good we took another group back on Saturday and more followed after our group. They all said it was excellent.
This is what I do when we travel. I read about local places and if we eat out we always try them. Have not been disappointed yet.
Friday Rain again. Some braved the rain to make their trip to Canton. we had a first. Instead of a catered meal the host team had baked potatoes and all the trimmings and salad. Think it was a hit but a lot of work. Happy hour also along with bingo at night. With yours truly, George,  as the caller.
Saturday was beautiful. More went to Canton and had a beautiful day but tons of shoppers. We had a catered meal but our breakfast was outstanding it was like going to a breakfast buffet. there had to be something that you liked. Happy hour and bingo again.
There was game playing and lots of puzzles completed this rally and visiting around the campfire for those who do not do bingo or games.
