DeMontrond Rally June 2015

Back in Ingram Texas again with DeMontrond Travelers for a great rally. This park has been our place for a number of rallies. It is a pretty good jaunt from Houston but so shady and quite. We are expecting about 27 coaches for DeMontrond rally and we will have aWWW following. We will only be able to stay one night for the WWW because we have to leave for Ft, Benning, Georgia for one of our grandson's graduation from boot camp. We all went to have  Mexican food together one day.  We had Myrna, who is with Johnson Creek do a fish fry for Saturday night, and we had a catered meal on Friday night.  We played lots of games and a lot just sat outside under the trees. Made a trip to Culver's for ice cream.  We told Mark about new park so he drove us over to Castroville, Texas. This is a beautiful park. Not much shade because it is really new. only been open about 5 or 6 months.  Hope to be making quite a few trips there. The sheriff for this rally was Jesse, our wagon Master, he did a really good job. He may have to pull double duty if he keeps this up. Safe travel to all. See you down the road.

 With all the reports of flooding in the past three weeks the water was not too high here.

 I saw this sign in the park and this should be used a lot more around the country.

 The park was moving one of their own RV's for room for us, guess he forgot where road was.

 We got to drive up to see the Cross in Kerrville TX today. This Cross is 77 feet tall.
