The weather report for today is not very promising. We will have to watch the skies for awhile. We heard there were some tornadoes that could possibly be coming our way. The wind stopped and it was very still and since we had experienced a tornado in our neighborhood many years ago we knew this could be a sign of really rough weather so we headed to the club house with a few others to wait it out. We were spared but quite a few places around us did have a minor touch down of one. Many of those scheduled to come in today have decided to wait until tomorrow and join us. Thanks to Ronnie and Troy we had our margaritas and reallllly enjoyed them. The cook off was a success and everyone was able to try some of the different chilies. Some played games after and it was a fun day in spite of the weather.
Here is where we are this morning.
Rain and Windy today.
What the weather was doing this morning
A few of us left our RV's to ride out the storm in the building this morning.
Connie, Manuel Janet, Sharon G. and Pat were playing "Pass The Love" while the storm passed.
Looks like the pond is filling up today.
Joe and Sandy went back home to get his Harley to ride.
Guess it is time for Margaritas, thank you Ronnie and Troy.
Sharon is checking her Chili.
Joe and Lynn are enjoying a beverage.
Look as if the ladies have taken over the bar tonight.....
The judges are judging the Chili
The winners are, #1 Dave, #2 Janet and 3rd was Sandy.
Everyone now get to enjoy the fixings.
