Demontrond Rally Jan 28 2012

It is our last full day of this rally and the weather is not too bad. We will have our breakfast and business meeting and then get to go do a little exploring. We have our bikers who took off for a ride. Heard stories but can not get any one to admit on happening on their ride. Some of us went to the winery and toured and tasted. Margaret Pettigrew had a had time finding one to say yes to. WE stopped at the old trading Post place and looked around. Mary Welsh is the only buyer here. Back at the campsite we visited and shared Mary and George's wine they bought with crackers and snacks. Have to get ready for the margaritas that are being served later. We played bingo again and had some good winning pots. The more that play the more we can give away each game.There were some happy people afterwards. Well our next rally will be in Corsicana, Tx. and it will be a first time there. looking forward to lots of neat things to see.

Ladell & Ray showing the Pens they were selling to help out a worker at Red Bay, AL. that his family had injuries from their home being burned to the ground. All the money collected will be taken to him and his family. Thank You.

Demontrond Rally Jan 27 2012

It is a beautiful day today and we are going to do a lot of visiting and sit out side to visit. Our day starts our with our continental breakfast and then some fix it up time with some of the coaches. Never a dull moment, there is always someone needing help to repair something. Guess that is part of the life of an rv'er. We went to lunch at a very good local cafe and overwhelmed them when 10 more than thought showed up. For those of us that stayed the food was excellent and we all brought doggie bags home. Too bad the building and land are for sale. We came back and did our usual visiting and then it was time for our evening meal. We played bingo after and all had a good time and especially the winners.

Now it is lunch time.

We filled this place up for lunch.

Now we returned to our RV's for chat time.

Now Ronnie is working on Allan's RV. He has a problem with the lights to his tow car.

They are getting close to solving the problem here.

Now it is time to eat again and have some beverages.

Now I will call some BINGO games tonight.

Demontrond Rally Jan 26 2012

Gosh time does fly on the rallies. It is Thursday and time for our potluck supper tonight. Of course we have to get in a little shopping and then lunch before we get around to pot luck. We have quite a few more coaches coming in today and the weather is suppose to be better. We had a great potluck and then we enlarged our game number to 12 and Steve was our big winner. Hope he took Cindy to Starbucks. We had quite a discussion on some words of the English language. Thanks to Sandy Huntley and her phone we now know new words. I think fun was had by all and looking forward to better weather and more coaches coming in tomorrow.
