Day 3 June 15 2010 our trip

Well it was a log day again, however we got the motor home in the shop for repairs to the levelers and they managed to find the problem and fix it. They had to replace 2 solenoids to the levelers.

This give us the whole day to sightsee and see things we would have missed otherwise.

We will cycle the levelers in the morning and if all is good we will be doing some more sighseeing as the winds are to be very strong and the highway department has issued warnings for high profile trucks & RV's.

Nice park in Albuquerque NM.
Notice all the carvings of trees that were killed during a fire in 2004. In place of removing the trees the City hired a person to carve the trees for display. Very good thinking.
All of these were carved with a chainsaw.

The Balloon Museum in Albuquerque NM.

The first balloon flight with real life.

This is an early compass and barometer dated 1860, can you believe that?
Well we got in the basket of a Hot Air Balloon.
This is the basket that was in the movie "The Great Race".
