WWW Alsatian Rally April 2019

Another Great RV Rally in Castroville Texas.
We had 12 RV's at this rally. Not everyone arrived same day but so glad that they are were able to make it. There was some confusion on our dates but all was worked out. We were able to have use of their new rally room, which use to be the restaurant before. It was really nice but did not have use of the key so we had a time frame to work from at night.
Mark and Brenda Scherbeck and Jim and Linda Wheeler were the host. They did a fantastic job and we really appreciate them.
Monday we just all got settled in and some of us went to Billie Bob's for a bite to eat.
 Tuesday we had a cook out at Mark and Brenda's coach. Everyone had a great time visiting and eating. Edwina's guest, Gary brought a delicious lemon cake for dessert.
George and I got to visiting with him and small world, he was born in San Antonio and didn't live too far from us.
Wednesday we had our pot luck. we had a wonderful variety of good food. No one left hungry.
Thursday some went sightseeing and others just relaxed around the park. There was going to be golf but there was not enough to play. The host team bought fried chicken and all the fix ins and we had a great meal. we had some good dessert also.
On Friday we had a great breakfast, followed by our meeting and then everyone was free to do what they wanted for the rest of the day. Some went to Hondo to eat an early dinner, some ate in town, all had a good day.
Saturday we had coffee in the rally room and the Frankins and The Liebels furnished some sweets. That night we played bingo with our new bingo set and we found out that we had quite a few duplicate cards so Sharon LaCoste was taking care of getting cards changed out. We had finger foods for our evening meal.
we had an attitude adjustment before our meals. We all byob except for one night and Mark had margaritas for us.
We played skip-bo, Rubikube, po ke no, bingo and worked puzzles and visited.
It was good to see some that had not been in awhile, Edwina Peyton, Gunter and Maria Liebel, Jesse and Mary, and our host team. Mark and Brenda and Jim and Linda.
