We left the Rally in Ingram TX on Sunday and traveled to Tolar Texas to see our Granddaughter Lauren HS Graduation.
When we stopped at the Dairy Queen on the way, we opened the door and the steps were not working again. We had just had these repaired and now they are not working again. I called the repair shop and they said to bring it back and they would fix them again. For the third time. So I will be taking it in this week to see what they decide.
It was very hot up in Tolar and we could only run one a/c at a time due to 30 amps. We were very busy getting ready for the Monday night party and then for graduation on Friday.
They were also in the process of selling their home and land and on setting up a closing date on their next home. needless to say they were going every which way.
We went to Baccalaureate services on Sunday night and then we went to eat at Hoffbrau steak house. There was a party on Monday evening. Don and Patti came up for it.
We got to attend the last senior supper at high school on Wednesday night held in the cafeteria at the high school.
We helped Lauren decorate the top of her grad. cap. It really stood out at the ceremony.
Lauren was very busy to say the least. Jana was having to work from home also. Mike was having to juggle, graduation, sell of home, buying another.
We had a quick grad lunch at the local Mexican restaurant.
Pam and Dillon came up for the graduation but had to return home that night. Sad we didn't get to see Dillon more as he was home on leave. The short visit was better than no visit.
It is hard to believe that Lauren is now a college freshman and she will be attending Hardin Simmons in Abilene and will be running track, doing the hurdles. Guess the RV will be heading to Abilene some. already checked out place to park.
WE love her and are very proud of her.
It was good to see Ruby and Will too. Can't believe they have grown so much. Ruby is a big girl now. She loves her brother a lot.
WE left on Saturday to head to our next rally at Bandera.
I am missing Caroline a lot. Glad that Casey is sending some pics. hope she remembers great Granny when we get home.
