2018 April Rally in Galveston Texas

Sunday 4/8/2018 Arrived in Galveston from Rally in Bullard, TX with DeMontrond Travelers.

Monday 4/9/2018  Lunch at Salsas Mexican Restaurant www.salsasgalveston.com. Rainy day today. LaVerne was not able to have lunch today with us due to a nephew of hers Roy Lin Tisdale was having a Highway named in his honor in Alvin, TX. , FM1462 from Highway 35 to Highway 288 will officially become the Lt. Roy Lin Tisdale Memorial Highway. On June 28, 2012 Tisdale was performing a routine unit safety briefing when a fellow soldier , Spc Ricky Elder shot Tisdale. Later Elder was part of a nine-man organization responsible for stealing military equipment in Afghanistan.

Tuesday 4/10/2018, had lunch at Fisherman's Wharf and road the Trolley today.

Wednesday 4/11/2018, Great sunny day today. Had lunch at Nate's and cook out this evening. LaVerne's Birthday.😇  We won't say the number.  Had a short meeting.   

Thursday 4/12/2018, Another beautiful day, just a little windy. Lunch today at Nate's and had George W's mother  and La Verne's Dad joined us. Later the ladies did some hat decorating, WOW looks good see the picture on here..

Friday 4/13/2018, Had breakfast at IHOP this morning, then went shopping, then back to the RV Park, some of the ladies did some coloring (LOL) later we had Pizza for our evening meal, salad was furnished by Carol. Thanks it was a big hit.

Saturday 4/14/2018, Well last night we had a storm come thru and the wind blew like crazy and hard rain and the temperatures fell.
We went to lunch at Shrimp n Stuff for lunch and George and Delores Letsos joined us. they live in Galveston and their coach is being worked on.
We had appetizers and finger foods this evening and had another short meeting.

There were several Hard Luck Stories this Rally, Steps would not go out 2 RV's, Water Leak from Pump, Windshield crack due to rock, Flush handle broke on one RV. Think we missed some.
