Started out with rain early Monday morning about 3:00 AM
10 RV's arrived on Sunday. We did not have good weather on Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday the winds were still blowing but not as bad.
We had to use a temporary room, which was not to our liking but all they would do for us until Wednesday. Then we got our permanent rally room. If we decide to go back again we will have a week long rally on the contract and not just Thursday till Sunday. We will have the rally room right This was the first time our host team went to the hard work to prepare all the meals and they did a super job of it. Allan & Margaret Pettigrew and Chuck & Carol Siedel. Many thanks to their hard work.
They fixed us soup one night, bratwurst and hot dogs another and ended up with spagetti and salad. Along with a cobbler one night.
Many visited towards the end of the week outside when the weather co-operated. We had a guest coach, Polo and Sharon LaCoste, they are on our waiting list. Pete and Bess came on Saturday and former members Ray and Caroline came for a visit also.
We had one new member, Suzette Sherwood, attending her first official rally.
Some of us went to breakfast at Magnolia Diner Sunday morning before hooking up and leaving.
Our next rally is just a week away in Sulphur, La. Edwina Peyton and Maria and Gunter Leibel are hosting it.
Happy Trials to you until we meet again.
