Some of the pictures were taken by Linda Ellisor and LaVerne Williams and sent to me to be added to this blog. Thank you very much.
We had really nice weather, in fact hot and muggy. the last day we were there the cool front came in and it was perfect for camping and sitting out except we had to leave.
We had a different rally this time as it was very unstructured. we decided what we were going to do when we got there and it was strictly if you wanted to participate. Some went to eat out and others stayed at the rally room and ate. We all pitched in and had a pizza night and we also had a Kentucky chicken night. We only went out as a group once to Vernon's catfish. We had a good time and had our two newest couples there, The Hearnes' and the Mesz'.
We had a lot of help with the puzzles, as many as 8 at one time working on it. Lots of fun finished one and almost a second.
We had everyone bring pics of their young years, then they had to guess who they were. need to do a little tweaking on the rules but it was fun.
Some went fishing, played games, worked puzzles or just visited.
Thanks to Don and LaVerne Williams, it was their anniversary also, we had a happy hour on Saturday night. think this might become a habit but may be Friday night so we still have Saturday to rest up.
All said they had a great time and can not wait for Sulphur Rally in November.
