It is now Wednesday. We decided to take a trip to the Rose Emporium today and we had a small caravan going the only problem was the lead driver and his passengers did not quite get there by the fastest way. We toured the countryside and had some laughs and tense moments too but we made it. The roses were not in full bloom as 3 weeks ago but there were still a lot of pretty flowers and different things to see. We will not mention trying to get back to Chappell Hill for lunch. We ate at Bevers Kitchen but not as good as last time we were there. Some said the desserts were as good as ever even if the meal was not. When we arrived back at the camp there were 3 more coaches here. We thought they were all coming Thursday so the welcoming crew were not here. The Masons, Leibels and Bobby Moffett and Janie were all sat up and waiting for us. Since we had a large lunch the 3 couples went up to the seafood and steak in Hempstead were we had been the night before and they said how great it was also. We all visited and some 42 was played before they left to eat. When they returned we all sat out under the new pavillion which is really great. there are lights and ceiling fans, which we have not needed but once because of the breeze we get. They are going to have custom made barstools all around the middle with checker boards and other games on the counter. There will be water with sink and we can grill and have our games and drinks there if we choose to.
we are not quite sure what Ed is pouring out here on the ground but he made several trips out of coach with the cup.

While we were gone Janie and bobby arrived a day early, so did the Masons' and Maria and Gunter. We were surprised when we got back but it was a great surprise.
