Here it is Saturday and our last full day at Kerrville how time does fly. We are taking George and Mary with us today to see a few things and check out Stonehenge, the replica, that has been relocated to Ingram. We checked out some RV parks and had lunch at Lakeside Cafe again. We did some window shopping on the old Ingram Loop. We found the Rustic Ranch and had to call to be able to go in. A very nice older couple, own the ranch and it can only be used by groups or rallies with reservations. They took us on a tour and invited us back to their ranch house but we had to decline due to our schedule. When we pulled up to the gate we thought it would open automatically. Wrong. There was a key pad and we had no code for it so we sat and waited thinking they would remember to open it. Wrong again. We waited for awhile then George W. decided to try and climb the fence to get to the phone on the entry side. No one wanted to turn around and drive back to the ranch house. By this time Mary was invisioning we would be some of those you never hear about again disappearing forever in the hill country. George was able to climb over, but when he tried calling on the numbers listed all he got was answering machines. Finally he was able to get someone but they could not understand how he needed to get out if he was already out of the fence. He had to explain that he climbed over and the car was still inside the ranch. You had to be there it was quite an experience. We did get out and went to check another RV Park which George is going to put all in one so you can see it all. Maria Liebel was nice enough to give some lessons in jewelry making and she took some ladies in to town to buy the supplies and came back and they made some beautiful bracelets. They were Shirley Parker, Janie Lundy, Linda Ellisor, and Nadine Bossley hope I did not leave anyone out. They did a great job. We did have some sad news from Janet that George was not doing well and was not a lot of hope for recovery. We said extra prayers for them. We had a margarita night again in celebration of Gilberts birthday a milestone one but I am not telling which one. Happy Birthday again. Our meal was superb, thanks to Nancy Hollis and all enjoyed it. We are having to say goodbye to all our friends but we are not heading home we are going to the Johnson Creek RV Park we just found and Sharon Goodlett is coming also.
Sunrise was great also.
