2016 Christmas

Christmas again 2016 with family.
We had a busy Christmas this year. It started early and ran a little overtime.
Our Grandson, Dillon, came in before Christmas , actually at Thanksgiving time. He had to leave on the 8th of December and then our Granddaughter, Colleen came in on the 16th  of December and she left on the 5th of January.
On Christmas day it all started at our house, then some of us went out to Hockley to the Berry's(Ryan and Casey's), then back to our house.
Some of the pictures are also from before Christmas Day and others are after the 25th.
We always enjoy Christmas and being with all of the family we can be with.
This year some were not able to be here due to reasons beyond everyone's control.
We are hoping to have all here this year. Even if it is not right on Christmas.
As usual we had way too much food. We have the traditional Mexican dinner. Tamales and all the trimmings.
I think everyone did well on their gifts. a few surprises in store.
Our collage that Casey put together of all the grandchildren was the highlight of our Christmas and means a lot to us. It is hanging above our mantle with all our Grandchildren in it. It shows and tells where each was living at the time and their age, you know us old folks some time we can"t remember so this will help in the future. She had each of them take individual pics with their arms out to duplicate a pic they did years ago at our lake when they were much younger. They all sent pics to her and she came up with the pose. Thanks to all of them for contributing and making it a very special gift.
Don and Patti are packing up boxes to ship to Colleen in Portland, she couldn't take it all back with her on  the plane.

Hope everyone had a Great Christmas.
The best of all to you in the New Year. Safe travels AND GOOD HEALTH.
