We traveled today 12/4/2015 to see our granddaughter (Lauren) #23 play basketball in Gustine Texas . so glad we got to see her play in a game. They won also. This game is part of a Tournament.
After the game we left and continued to Glen Rose, Texas to watch the Tolar Rattlers in their Playoff football game vs Crawford. (They lost this game, however; this is the furthest the school has ever gone in the History of the school to have advanced in the playoffs.)Mike has made it to the playoffs many times but could never get past that second round. Our son Mike Franklin is the AD and Head Coach for Tolar High School. Assistant Coaches are Gregg Lee, Allen Nance, Darrell Hogan, Mike Martinez, Kent Caruthers and Brennan Dingler.
After the end of the game we got to visit a while and our other son Donald and our grandson Cody Franklin were able to come to the game, then we drove back to Cypress Texas. Donald drove our van and Cody drove his car back this evening. We arrived back about 2:15 AM safe and sound.
