Well it is off to Moody Gardens today to see the Christmas lights and view The Ice Land exhibit here.
Another wonderful trip for us and friends today. the weather looked like it could be some rain, however, we only had some light showers while we were in transit in the Harris County Bus.
We had to get parkas to go thru the ice exhibit. It was really neat and very cold. They started to make the ice in February in Bryan, Texas. they would haul it down here and store it in an ice storage unit here in Houston till needed.
We had a great buffet. They had bread pudding for dessert. It was scrumptious. After we ate we went thru the festival of lights. Some walk and some took the tram It was so warm it was hard to get the Christmas spirit.
We had a bonus and the bus driver, Corina, took us down the street in Spring Shadows, Kemp forest, down a number of blocks and turn left, to a house and lot that are just very beautiful and full of lights and animations. It is worth the drive over to see it. You can not get out of your vehicle but just enjoy from inside,
We returned to church about 9. It was a very good trip. Hope to see some of you at our Christmas Dinner at our church on the 15th.
Merry Christmas to all.
