Gosh it seems a long time since we had a WWW Rally but here we are at Country Place in Cut N Shoot, Texas and there were 6 coaches that arrived on Sunday. Guess we were eager to get here and catch up on all the going ons of everybody. Some went to eat at Luby's and some stayed at camp and had something from their own kitchen, well sort of, right Karen. We are expecting our biggest gathering yet with 18 coaches coming. Boy have we grown but we are maxxed for the time unless the club votes differently. We all get along well and have a close knit "family". We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of the Roberts(Lynn & Carla) to see if we can tell any difference in Lynn. He has joined the retired ranks. That a way to go Lynn. Congrats. More as the week progresses, as this was Sunday arrivals, oh yes we got in some skip-bo also. It has become the new game of past time for a lot of us.
LaVerne and Don getting their flag up.
Phil helping drive the Name sign in the ground for LaVerne.
Karen, LaVerne and Dan. If you look close Dan's cap is dirty from having to work on their truck.
LaVerne showing her new Ipad to Karen. Dan we know what her next gift will be.
More showing how it works.
Our U.S.Navy wind sock.
The pond is about 5 foot down from normal for all the lack of rain here.
Still there are a few ducks here.
So sad looking.
Really dry, water is normally under the bridge.
Mother and her small ones going across the pond.
Nice fitness room here. I will have to try it out.
just another picture to show how dry it is here.
Looks like we are all set up and ready to rally.
Skip-Bo time.
Dan got a new cap. He found this at HEB in Tomball. Nice cap.
LaVerne joined in playing Skip-Bo for me while I took some pictures.
It started to get dark so we got some light out to see by, looks like the one I got out was a bit small compared to LaVerne's.
So we moved into the clubhouse and here is the new Skip-Bo card holder that Don Williams made. Great job Don.
God Bless the U.S.A.
