50 th Birthday party for Patti

Well Patti(our daughter-in-law) has reached the big 50 and we were invited over to their house to help her celebrate some. Cody and Colleen came in for the week end from A & M to help their Mom have some fun. She enjoyed all the cards with gift cards and now will be out shopping. She also received some movies from her kidos. They were going to watch one with her before getting on the road. We have another big 50 the end of the month (our son) and our Grandchild (Casey) turns 21 next week oh my gosh they are getting older, not us. Ha Ha

Country Place RV Park 10/8/2011

Our very last full day at our rally. It is always kind of sad to know we are leaving all our good friends(extended family) and heading back to reality. The host teams were super. We had such a great time and everyone had fun, we hope. They out did themselves with our breakfast and our meeting went well also. We have host for months needed all the way to next November. Dave and Linda Ellisor are getting an unscheduled rally together for Dec. after Christmas till the 2nd. of January. It will be at the old Haven's Landing the KOA. More to come on that. We have Feb. back at Country Place. April (location) to be announced and May at Red Oak, pending confirmation. We had an update on Troy and he is still in St. Luke's please keep him in your prayers. See many of you in Austin and then Branson. Happy Travels and be safe.

I think everyone had a great time at this rally, we all got to relax and laugh a lot and be grown up kids again. Thanks to the Great work of the Host Team.

I trust everone had as much fun as we did and had a safe trip home or wherever they were going when we had to leave on Sunday Morning.

Country Place RV Park 10/07/2011

Our week is getting closer to being over. If you do not start coming on Sunday or Monday you really miss a lot of fun and visiting. Just ask Buddy. We had 16 people playing skip-bo I think we have found our game of choice. We had an uplifting report on Troy, he called Ronnie and talked to him and he is getting better. Hurry and get out of that hospital. Glad to have Ed and Margaret back with us last night. The host out did themselves and everyone had a great time. I think the next host have their work cut out for them. The Scavenger hunt was a great success and everyone had fun. Just not sure on some teams interpretation of some of the items we needed. It was fun, fun, fun. Thanks to all our cooks for their help. Hope we did not scare off LaVerne's cousin from coming back to visit.
