We are finally finished with our Kitchen update.
It all started with Pat always wanting a Larger oven for her cooking, We purchased this home in 1972 and it had the stove top built into the counter top, and the oven was a cabinet mount as we are sure most of you have seen or had.
Well right before Christmas 2019, guess what? The oven went out and it would have been to expensive to have it repaired. At least this was our thinking. So we pondered the idea of a good Christmas present would be for Pat to get her long time dream, A New Range with a larger oven for baking.
As usual our children were all here for Christmas and they said that they wanted to get the stove for our Christmas present.
Next thing we heard was they were deciding on one for Christmas.
Then the fun all started. They all got started and cut the cabinet out where the new stove would go.
And that was the beginning of our Kitchen Make Over. The pictures on this blog post will tell the rest of the story.
Remember this started before Christmas 2019, well we had 2 RV Rallies and other happenings along the way that lengthened the project till our finish date on April 2020.
What a trip we had, new great grand children enter this world, a hospital visit for me, Pat getting sick, and We just do not work as fast as we did a few years ago. LOL. Oh then Corona-19 showed up.that gave us a lot more time to work on this project.
This is something Pat and I have wanted to do for many years.
It is like having a new home..😃😄👫
We had a lot of help in getting this done. We want to thank everyone that helped in getting this project started and for us to be able to finish it and enjoy it so much.
