We first were in San Antonio Texas, from Sunday until Wednesday, visiting Pat's sister Linda, good to see she is doing a lot better. Then we headed for the Rally in
Lagoons RV Resort, Rockport, Texas.
There was a good turn out of RV's at this Rally and several visitors also. I think everyone had a good time. We had some members show up that have not been in a long time due to illness, glad to see them back with us.
Troy had some TV problems and had to get a new TV at Walmart. Always helping the local economy.
We didn't arrive until Wednesday and then had to go back to San Antonio on Thursday so our time was cut short to actually be there.
It was pretty hot and humid there.
We visited and played games and of course we ate a lot. We had 2 nights of bingo which everyone really enjoyed. We were able to play 5 games each night so more people had a chance to win.
We will be returning with our other club in September during the Hummingbird Festival. It should be a little cooler and hopefully a lot of hummers will be there.
We had nomination for officers for the DeMontrond Travelers Club. The election will be held in September at Brauning Lake in San Antonio.
