Another Demontrond Rally here this week at Alamo Fiesta RV Resort in Boerne, Texas.
New Members Jack and Winona Taylor were here for this rally. Jesse reported there were a total of 16 RV's at the rally. It was our smallest rally for Demontrond ever remembered. We had a few days of rain however; that did not slow down many of us.
We may have been small in number but a good time was had by all. Our new couple decided to join right then so we must be doing something right.
We had great catered meals thanks to Sharon Goodlet and to our host team which was Janet Lambe, Shirley Parker, and Phil and Gisele Roberts for the wonderful breakfasts. Dean Parker filled in as sheriff and carrying on the tradition of Buddy he even caught his own wife, Shirley without her badge.
Janet Lambe held a craft sale. She certainly has a lot of jewelry and crocheted items.
Bingo was played two nights and Mark called the first night and Jesse sat in a couple of rounds. guess it took two to fill his job. LOL. George was under the weather but he was able to call the second night.
We certainly want to thank DeMontrond for being such a gracious sponsor for our rallies all thru the years. Without them we could not enjoy our rallies as much.
We will not have any more rallies this year but will start fresh in 2016.
We miss all those who can no longer attend the rallies but want them to know we do remember them all.
