DeMontrond Rally Jan 2013 Part 2

Part 2 of our Rally at KOA in Montgomery Texas. buddy had a pretty good record of catching us without our badge.  He did not have to chase many of them down either.  We had a great time and some shopped, some did some sightseeing and others went out to eat breakfast and lunch.  Our usual things to do.  Mark was a little under the weather also.  Hope all are feeling better soon. We are looking forward to our next rally in Corsicana and this will really be different as the rally will actually be on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday before Easter. 

FYI after returning home and checking our neighborhood paper the cafe we took pics of was listed in there. they are only open Mon. thru Fri. and their hours are 7 a.m. till 2 p.m. guess we will have to try it out. We know some DeMontrond people live very close may have to meet them there.

 Lots of cars here so we are thinking the food must be good.

 Out driving we saw some nice longhorns.

The Fitzgeralds came to see us today.

 Ed had his surgery and could not stay too long but it was great to see him.

 Some new member was being introduced to us by LaVerne, Shelly and Linda.

DeMontrond Jan 2013 Rally Part 1

Well we arrived on Monday the 21st. It is our annual rally at KOA in Conroe, formerly Haven's landing. Not many were there when we arrived on Monday.  We got to visit and relax some after setting up.  was told buddy was not coming due to not feeling good.  Made a call to tell him we would miss him and the next thing i know they are going to be there the next day. glad they were able to come. Even if Nancy had to go out and replug all in on their coach at about 11 that night. As everyone started to arrive our circle of friends grew and we moved around coaches to visit.  there was not a lot of game playing (42) this time.the weather is really co-operating with us now.

 

It was a great Sunset today.

 We visited with the Roberts.

Well some get ready to plan the day this morning.

Got up this morning to some thick fog.

 We had our lunch under a cover and got to meet some new members.

Now it was off to our meeting room for some game playing.
