DeMontrond Travelers Rally Oct. 2012 Day 4

Day 4 Our host team for the rally were Terry and Shirley Smotherman, Ed and Robin Bartholet and Bess Bratner.  We had breakfast tacos this morning and enjoyed them along with some sweets from Friday morning.  After breakfast we had our business meeting.  We got to take a look at the coach that Gilbert brought. It was a Holiday Rambler.  We visited and had a fun day. We had happy hour some were real happy.  We had our catred meal and then we plyed some more bingo.  Thanks aain to all who made the rally possible.  A good time was had by all there.  The next DeMontrond rally will be in Conroe at KOA in January.  they still need one couple to help host.

We just found out our son,'s football team(Tolar Rattlers) are finishing 2nd. in district so we will be spending our time at playoffs starting Nov. 16th. Go Rattlers!

De Montrond Travelers Rally Oct 2012 Day 3

Day 3
Our weather has definetely changed our first little cold air of the season is here. At least we are not having the rain with it. it was great to have a fire going to keep the chill off.  We were treated with a happy hour even on Friday night. thanks so much to all who made it possible.  We also played bingo after dinner and had some happy winners.  some of us stayed and played skip-bo after bingo.  Wanted to enjoy the fire a little longer. All had a good time.

The weather has changed and it has a little chill in the air.

De Montrond Travelers Rally Oct 2102 Day 2

Day 2 of this Rally. The Parker's have a new addition to the family and he is the hit of the rally.  I think he knows he has found a great family. We were able to sit out side today the weather was great but tomorrow will be different.  Some of us played skip-bo and others went shopping. We had our pot luck and it was great as always.  our numbers were not large in attendees but those of us here had a great time.

DeMontrond Travelers Rally Oct 2012 Day 1

Our first day we arrived about 3:20 PM and by 5:00 we were off to go eat.We were late in arriving to this rally as we had too much going on at home.  Seems we lost half of the week already.  It was a little drive to go eat but well worth it. the food was delicious. just be sure to have cash on you for your meal. We all came back to park very full and a lot with dogie bags.

 Our Meal was great. All you can eat.

Sulphur La Rally 2012 8



THERE WERE 15 of us that went to the cracker barrel before leaving for home on Sunday morning. We had a surprise while there. Shirley said she had to go check on her baby right quick. Her and Dean are proud parents of a miniature Schnauzer named Coco. They had just got her the night before.  He is a cutie. We did have another hard luck when we got ready to leave. Dean could not get a slide to go in and thankfully Lynn was still there and able to get it in after awhile.  We were all ready to roll then.
