Alamo Fiesta RV Park June 2012

We moved LaVerne and don's coach here with Jesse's help. He drove their coach and helped to get it set up. The office staff was so caring and concerned and are being extremely helpful to LaVerne at this time. We stayed till Saturday with her and then we needed to get home for meds, family and other issues. We have been in touch with her regular and hope the doctors find out and fix Don's problem once and for all. They need some good news out of this. The hospital is rated number one in the southern region. She was also told she has two of the top doctors at this hospital taking care of him. It is a blessing that it happened the way it did. they say they will not just bandaid this and send him on. They will find the reason and treat it.

Johnson Creek RV park WWW Rally June 2012

WWW had a mini rally connected to the DeMontrond Rally and we arrived there on Sunday. It is a beautiful Park. In a pecan orchard and lots of deer. They were voted best small park for two years in a row now. They have wonderful people working there and they treated us very well. We are going to come back again next year. Some of us decided to stay over an extra night it was so nice. Unfortunately LaVerne had to rush Don to the hospital that Thursday morning at 12:30 A.M. He went to Kerrville Hospital and was transferred by ambulance to San Antonio, Texas to the Methodist Specialty and Transplant Hospital. He is still there at this time. It is now Monday the 18th of June.

Demontrond Travelers Rally Kerrvile Texas June 2012

Well June is here and that means Kerrville, Texas and this time guadalupe RV Park. There were quite a few that arrived on Sunday. A bunch on Monday. We had a good turn out and a lot of catching up since our last rally. We had visitors this time. Janet had her granddaughter, Sammie, with her and then mid week she switched and then she had Karen and her friend Haley. Gisele has her sister, Maurizette, here to visit from France.Phil and Gisele also had their son Phil Jr. join us for dinner one night. he is a doctor and was working the Kerrville hospital. No doubt that Phil is his father. Sharon Goodlet had her friends John and woody Hearne also. john is a very good cook by the way. We did our usual eating out and we had a great fellowship with all. We had bingo 2 nights and everyone had a good time. Especially the winners. Some went to the pool a few times. There was not as much 42 playing as usual. There was pass the love a couple of times. Seems most wanted to visit or sightsee this time. We made the usual trip to culver's ice cream. I believe some went more than once. No names mentioned. We missed a our sheriff and a lot of other members who could not attend for various reasons.
