Our last full day of the rally and time has flown as usual. This has been a super rally and the host teams have been great. We had pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, fruit and juice and all was just great. We thank all very much. Connie was under the weather this morning and we missed her at the breakfast, but she was much better as the day went on and was able to rejoin in the fun. After breakfast we all went to the SAS shoe factory and some bought shoes, gifts, ice cream, candy and old time memorbilia. Good time was had by all.
After that some went back to park, others toured the missions, others went for more shopping. All sat around and visited till time for our hamburger cookout. Manuel did all the cooking of the hamburgers and the rest of the host team got all the extras ready and had ice tea for us.
The park let us use all their kitchen and items in it, coffee pots, grill, utensils, and etc. we did not have to use any thing out of our coaches. What a deal.
While everyone was sitting around, before our cookout, Lynn went to help Ray Mason on his coach and ray raised up to soon and had to get 9 stitches in his head from the slide out. He had a slight headache after that.
We had pass the love and also 42 going on after our meal. I think Manuel was the big winner at the pass the love. We had 2 guests for the rally and they were a joy. We had Opal, Carla Roberts mom, and on Friday and Saturday night we had Pete's sister, who lives in San Antonio here. She even joined in the pass the love on Saturday night and had a great time. Opal played both nights and had a great time also.
There is nothing to replace our extended family and always a joy to get together, we were sorry that more could not attend. We were glad to hear the news that Don Williams will be going home on Tuesday from the hospital.
I saw a rabbit this morning at our rv site.
