December 30 2011 KOA

It is Friday already and tonight we are having Italian Pot Luck. Pot lucks are always a hit. During the day our appointed sheriff was catching some people with out their red shirts and flags that were not out. Thanks Buddy for doing a great job. Watch out Lynn you have competition with Ray Mason now. The weather finally cooperated enough for us to be able to sit out. We all visited and had time to catch up some. After the pot luck we had some time for games and then some of us went to James and Diane's and they had a fire going for us. When we ran short of wood so we brought some of our wood leveling blocks over to keep it going, hope we remember to replace them when we get home. Gilbert and Mary Lou stayed around the fire and they were having a few drinks, only for medicinal purposes, we were told something with honey in it. Any ideas. Well tomorrow we have our new year's eve celebration and then back to reality on Sunday.

Well the weather was nice enough for us to set out today.

Mary Lou came also with Gilbert. So nice to have them join us.

Now it is time for our famous Pot Luck night.

Then later some of us went to James and Diane's to sit by the fire this evening.

December 29 2011 KOA

Gosh time does fly when you are having fun. It is Thursday already. We went to Magnolia Diner for breakfast and then came back for some lessons on the tabltets. I think once we established Words with friends all the lesson went down the tube. Hopefully tomorrow we will do much better at lessons. Some went shopping for the breakfast and New years ceklebration and LaVerne and I tagged along.

When we got back to park we unloaded and had to get ready for our meal at Vernon's and all the eggnog you can drink. Let me say it was really good and we all had our share, except for a couple of members.

As you can see not many takers on games tonight I think we all had to much nog and fish.

Six of us went across Highway 105 to Magnolia Cafe for breakfast this morning. George F, Dave, Linda, Dan, Karen and Pat took the picture.

Beamer was to go out but someone forgot to leave the door unlocked.

The flags were out this morning however it was very foggy.

it still looked impressive.

A lesson on the tablets by LaVerne, however I think all they learned today was how to play games.. to be continued Fri. A.M.

December 28 2011 KOA

We went to McDonalds for breakfast and then we headed home we had firgot some things and I needed a haircut. We got back in the afternoon just in time to get ready for the cookout. It was bring what you want and we all had a great time. We had our chefs all standing by and getting ready to cook maybe we should have a cook off sometime and see how things go. Might be something to consider. After we finished eating some went back to coaches to sit out and some stayed to play games. We have a nice rally room and we really do thank Dave and Linda for putting this little rally together. Let me rephrase that our big rally together.

We must be doing something right to get the attendance we do now. We thank all for coming and hope they enjoy their stay.

Look at Janet's new motor home. WOW! We are so very glad you decided to get a coach and keep up the on the road again. It is a very nice coach.

We had to take the tour and visit for a while with Janet this morning.

Mc Donalds for breakfast for all that wanted to go this morning.

This afternoon it was time to fire up the grills and have our Hot Dogs and Hamburgers. Phil is getting some help here.

Dave has his grill under control.

Alan is getting some advise and Gunther is working with his grill also.

All are waiting for the meat to get ready.
