La Hacienda RV Resort Austin TX 10/31/10

Sunday 10/31/2010 Did not get a lot of pictures today, we said our goodbyes and filled up with propane on our way out of the park. Took a few shots heading home. Thinking of all to do when we reach our destination. Next Rally will be at the Old Havens in Conroe on 105 the end of January. Hope all have a Happy Thanksgiving and a Merry Christmas we will be seeing Phil & Gisele soon on their way past Cypress. Happy Trials to you.

Saturday 10/30/2010 Well this is our last full day at the rally. We will have bingo again tonight and George will be the caller, forgot to mention that the cover all last night was $60.00 boy we had a really good turn out of people. Not sure about tonight but hope it will be good. We decided to go to Sandy's Hamburgers for lunch, needed some food before the happy hour again. Sure glad we do not have to drive anywhere. We just have to walk and hope we find our coach. HaHa. We had a new couple sit at our table and we really enjoyed their company. We also had a t-shirt lesson along, with line dancing and some played 42, it turned into a very busy Saturday afternoon. I am not sure if anyone paid the 12.00 to get into Hippie Hollow, they probably would not admit it if they did.

Now we are getting more travelers getting their blog, we had a class and helped them get the blog.

Some of it was easy some had a slight problem.

Then it was time for lunch at Sandy's.

Now this evening Gilbert had his famos "Margaritas".

La Hacienda RV Resort Austin TX 10/29/10

Friday 10/29/2010

The wind has died down and we are in for some cold nights but beautiful days. We had a lot of old members come to this rally and also some new ones. Hope the club is on the upward swing again. Gilbert and MaryLou always make the party brighter and merrier with their Margaritas they serve. Our new slate of officers are doing a good job. They have a tough task to keep all us old folks satisfied. Tonight is catered meal. We stayed around camp most of the day just visiting and resting.

Everyone is gathering again at our RV.

This is an old trolly car parked in a storage lot next door to the RV Resort.

Gilbert picked up a good size rock on the way to the park.

The rock hit right in front of the driver. Glad it did not come thru.

I located another birdhouse by the pool.

And then another up it a tree by the entrance.

Did someone say our evening meal was about ready?

Gilbert got a new apron with a built in bottle opener.

Jeannie Thompson and her husband Scott came to the rally. She is the Customer Advisor. at DeMontrond. She did a good job for us when we had our RV in for repairs. Scott is in charge of the Paint and body Shop at DeMontrond. lots of good changes are being made.
